Banco de Reservas, through its CREE program, launched the ninth edition of the Pre-Acceleration Program, with the participation of 10 entrepreneurial projects that stood out among more than 190 proposals from all over the country.
This program is designed to support entrepreneurs in developing their businesses and increasing their chances of success in the market. Participants will dedicate approximately 20 hours a week for five months of work with experts in different areas of business, depending on the stage of their venture.
Raquel Giráldez, Banreservas' Sustainability and Social Responsibility Director, encouraged the young participants to take advantage of all the strategic mentors, technicians, and facilitators who will be accompanying them during the program, so that their companies can reach the next level.
The selected ventures are: Biopet-ID, Umami, Facishop, Contapp Digital, Xperience Dominican Republic, Gingerly, Aprendiendo a Soñar, Mobiliapp, Our Flavour and Smart Cosmetics, which belong to various economic sectors such as education, services, technology, tourism, and e-commerce.
Melissa Hernández, manager of the Cree Banreservas Entrepreneur Program, explained the methodology and the process that will be carried out over the five months of work, highlighting that the main objectives are: to refine the business model of the projects, to define with the entrepreneur the best commercial strategies for growth, to formulate financial projections, and to create a pitch or sales presentation for investors.
Furthermore, Hernández urged participants to enjoy this training process. "It is a pleasure for us to be part of your plans and to accompany you on the journey of entrepreneurship," she said.
At the end of their training stage, the entrepreneurs will present their business proposals to an evaluation committee on Demo Day, with the aim of being eligible for potential capital investment that will allow them to further develop their companies.
